We are proud that we have extremely low employee turnover in all divisions of our business. Our Managers average over 20 year’s agency experience in Operations and Accounting in the industry. Senior Management is also active in the day-to-day operations of the company.
Bluebridge employees are leaders in all aspects of the port community throughout Nigeria: they play key roles in security initiatives, maritime and port/trade organizations, and serve as marine sector advisors to Petrolex and other oil & gas entities.
All Bluebridge agents are specially and extensively trained to become local experts of their individual port of service. Each agent is experienced and expert in local as well as federal Nigerian Customs, Immigration, NIMASA and other pertinent government agency regulations that affect ships, crewmen and vessel cargoes. Our knowledgeable staff maintains up to date information on port facilities, repair resources, marine equipment providers, and medical facilities and are equipped to provide immediate transmission of all applicable voyage information and timings.
Bluebridge operatives provide special services for tankers, LPG carriers, RoRo and offshore rigs. Bluebridge's wide range of extra services for ships and crews includes, but is not limited to, the areas of ship repair, crew medical needs, and cargo disposition.
Voyage Accounting/Finance & Reporting
Our paper and e-flow system eliminates misidentified port call charges and speeds up vendor and client inquires, acting as a key identifier for required reports. Bluebridge's voyage accounting and finance system provides instant and accurate cost analysis - by port, vessel and service - offering our clients security and a distinct competitive advantage.
Bluebridge’s Finance Department is uniquely poised to meet our clients’ needs. As with all Bluebridge shipping personnel, the Finance Department pride themselves on always meeting our client’s needs through continual improvement, preventative action, and teamwork.
Bluebridge’s system facilitates a time tested paper and e-flow system, helping to eliminate misidentified port call charges, speeding up vendor and client inquires, and acting as a key identifier for required reports.
Bluebridge’s Finance Department coordinates all funding activity and reconciles those funds to each port call. Payment of port call expenses and accounts receivable reconciliation is done with a focus on our Principal’s needs. We utilize online banking for reporting and money movement. These online services are password accessed utilizing multi level password protection to reduce fraud exposure.
Cargo Forwarding
Bluebridge offers forwarding of all approved export cargoes for shipment by sea or air.

TIME CHARTER
We transport various products (clean petroleum products, construction materials, agricultural produce, etc) with our low draft inland/coastal tankers and barges.
All vessels in our fleet comply with IMO/NIMASA regulations on double hulls, SOLAS Convention and ISM Code, evidencing the premium we place on safety and pollution prevention.

- The vessel can be given out for an agreed period of time
- Rates are negotiable
- We operate the vessel on trades directed by charterer
- We are responsible for capital and fixed operating costs
- Any variable operating cost will be passed on to the charterer
SPOT/SINGLE VOYAGE CHARTER
Rates are expressed based on tonnage
The contract will be signed for a cargo to be transported to a speciic voyage or range.
CONSECUTIVE VOYAGE ARRANGEMENT
Contract will be signed for an agreed number of voyages
Terms and conditions to be agreed
Rates may differ between voyages due to bunker price escalation or other market forces.
